Who this space is for

AureNaija is for adults aged 18 and above who are single, divorced or widowed, legally eligible to marry and genuinely seeking marriage. All members must complete a profile and a NIN-linked identity check before discovery or conversations. Create only one account for yourself and give accurate information.

How introductions work

The platform limits the number of concurrent introductions. Pending requests reserve a space for both people. The administrator can change this limit; a reduction preserves existing introductions and stops new requests until spaces are available. Conversations begin after the recipient accepts. Either person may end an introduction.

Milestones and choice

Progress is recorded only after one member suggests a milestone and the other confirms it. This is a voluntary reflection tool. There is no obligation to continue a conversation, meet, involve family or marry. Compatibility scores are guidance and do not guarantee a suitable partner or a successful marriage.

Respectful participation

Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, solicit money, upload unlawful or intimate content, or misuse another member’s information. Respect boundaries, different relationship histories and declined requests. Do not evade blocks, account restrictions or identity checks.

Verification and responsibility

Identity verification confirms an identity check, not a criminal-background check, relationship-history check or a guarantee of safety. Exercise independent judgment. Keep passwords and OTPs private, never send money to another member, and plan any in-person meetings carefully.

Moderation and closure

Reports can be reviewed and accounts suspended for misuse. Administrators must record a reason for moderation decisions. You may pause discovery or close your membership from your account. The Privacy Notice explains retained records and the operator’s pre-launch requirements for privacy requests.

Fees and availability

No payment collection is implemented in this release. Any later paid service must clearly state its price and terms before a member agrees. Access depends on platform availability and identity-service availability.
